Humanity belongs to the Earth. Everything is interconnected; what affects the Earth will also affect humanity. Humanity did not weave the web of life, but is merely a strand in it. Whatever we do to the web of life, we do to ourselves. While humanity has been an entropic force, we have the potential to become a powerful negentropic force if we learn to effectively tackle environmental conflicts.
